Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This is the one that started it all!
When Doug was looking for his next project, his daughter suggested he draw another bird, reminding him how much everyone loves all of his other bird drawings. When he decided on the Blue Jay, this image just shouted "Put a baseball in his talons!" Fly Ball was only half done when Jim saw it and his mind exploded with images! A hundred possible concepts came into focus and he began to stammer trying to get them all out as Doug just smiled. The same thing had happened to him already.

I know what you're thinking. "It's unbelievable" and "How do they do it", right? That's what makes this so much fun! Stirring Images is the creation of award winning pencil realist Doug Comeau and Author/Entrepreneur, Jim Leonard. The two Canadian Air Force veterans began Stirring Images in the fall of 2016, beginning with the Visual Metaphor collection of Blue Jay Baseball fan art. Since then they have continued to collaborate on many more original concepts in pencil that are Convincingly Realistic.
